An Amazing Fact: The race is on to build the earth’s tallest building. China, Russia, and South Korea all have plans for colossal skyscrapers, but presently the United Arab Emirates has a staggering new edifice under construction in Dubai. The concrete skeleton of the “Burj Dubai” is already taller than any building in the world; and although the final height is a secret, it is estimated that it will be at least 2,600 feet — nearly twice as tall as the Empire State building! But unlike the Empire State, which is founded on rock, the “Burj Dubai” is being constructed on sand!

While the contest is on to see which country can push structural engineering to the limits and construct the tallest building in the world, you and I have a much more exciting, rewarding, and eternal calling …
