I am so anticipating for SIL's arrival. I thought she's gonna arrive today because I thought it's already 22nd! Haha! See how advance I am??? Well, one more sleep after tonight and she'll be here. I am so excited still even though she's not bringing my so much longed dried fish and atsara (papaya pickles) that NangEls made and tried sending. That's fne. I still can wait for next month though when our friend Sheila will come back. But right now, it's this that is actively playing in my mind:

Remember these guys? I bet! You see, I am a typical Filipino and these two are but a favorite! That puso ng saging is heaven to me. My mama and late father, and most of my older sisters make the best recipe out of it! Be it ginataan nga salad, ginisa with tinangkong, just salad made of vinegar, or patties and some more that i couldn't cook but I'd love to eat for all time. Whew! Just so yum. And that buko? Ahhh... I have never known a single Pinoy who's not into it! We've got a lot of these in our farm back home. And when I could go back someday,Ii would never dare miss a chance to get myself rewarded! (Laughs.) Pagkasarp nalang jud! I couldn't trade these gorgeous apples, sweet grapes, and cherries that we have here. I haven't even shown you how drooling Philippine mangoes are! Ahh... now I am making myself hungrier here!
