back and able!!!

When ever you have a problem, place it in God's capable hands by asking Him in prayer to handle it for you! Then, whatever you do, try not to hold on to a little corner of it and pull it back again. For when you put your trust in God, He will lead your way! That is just how I see it having a faith in Him. You see, in the past week, I have been through a crisis. After hitting an accident in the road with Triz and was given a second life, as that's how I call it, now I am back and able to write some more. Even though this blog's pee-arr is now gone, I still am up for updates. I just got home from the hospital after 3-days of hospitalization for Triz's viral infection, and now that I am back, I am also able to keep this blog of mine active. Hope to hop on your pages soon! Have a good Friday!

deeper thoughts pondered

I am studying the Sabbath School Quarterly lesson right now. It's only me who is still awake at this time and I love the solemnity at this very hour. I am listening to Central Study Hour right now at Amazing Facts and I love to think and feel that I am just with swithart, still, as we used to do this together every Friday night. I love the lesson for this quarter! That's why I try so hard to keep on browsing the online copy since I don't have the hard copy of the book itself. The Puzzle of Jesus' Conduct. Indeed, so puzzling. At our human minds, we tend to get something negative out of it, but to get the point of what Ellen G. White is saying,
“We are to copy no human being. There is no
human being wise enough to be our criterion. We are to look to the
man Christ Jesus, who is complete in the perfection of righteousness
and holiness. . . . He is the pattern man. . . . His character is our
model.”—Ellen G. White, In Heavenly Places, p. 166.

In the end, it is still between what we do and who we follow. Imperfections, failures, and negativities are what we see in humans. Even with our own family members, or with the workers at church. But we ought to keep our eyes on Jesus. We'll find delight and strength if we do so.  Have a Happy Sabbath to everyone who drops by!

tgif and being home

Neighbors around us over here are always delighted and amazed with how bibo our home is. Our electric and water bills are rising to the highest, in fact, people here are saying it's like we are of commercial lines. LoL. But actually, it's just because there are a lot of us living in this home. It is a blessing, yes, because even amidst our number, we still get along well with each other. Now I am glad it's Friday once again and thank God as swithart and us are one more day closer to see each other. Haha. Everybody is excited, can you tell? Right now, Triz and I are home. Just the two of us. Mama left early to go to NangEls and Donna's places and afterwards, she's gonna head to church for her task. While Yaya, Kuya Tom and Shai left so early to go to NSO and DFA for Shai's Philippine passporting. {I hope they'll be done with it in one day. Hah. People must be flooding those two government offices by now!} And Triz's ate's? I let them roam around their cousin's place, just in the next barangay and let them have fun, free, and wild. LoL. Now it's just Triz and I and I am loving this time! Later on, I'll have so much time to read while putting Triz to her nap time, or maybe wait for Yaya's updates. Maybe I'll go out later, but for sure, tonight we'll be at church for Vespers. I've got my Friday's Feast up by the way at my other blog, and in the meantime, hope you guys are going to have one great Friday!

the comfort of commuting

Commuting- going to and from one place to another with the use of a public transportation-- it's one of the things I love about Philippines! From trisikads, to pedicabs, to jeepneys, taxix, buses. They're such a huge help to everyone. With a commute, I can go to a certain store anytime, without the hassle of waiting for Triz's uncle driver to take us. Hehe. I am so used to commuting, and Triz has learned to love it, too. Today, I and Yaya waited for so long for Kuya the driver who went to the area somewhere north of the city with Kuya Tom and Shaira and dropped by at SM to have their {late} breakfast there. While I with Triz and Yaya are scheduled to go to the Immigration office to inquire something about Shaira's status and head to the Cebu Pacific ticketing office to get a ticket for Kuya and Mama. It was so hot and humid outside that Yaya refused to go out commuting. But knowing that it would take another an hour or more for Kuya the driver to come back and fetch us, I decided that we will go by a taxi. With it, the heat and humidity were doctored, and we were able to reach our destination on time and warmly. LoL. And oh, we've dropped by at Jollibee for Triz' favorite treat! Hehe..

Ola from Costa Rica!!!

I've met a Costa Rican back when I was still in high school when a group of Latin Americans went to visit our school for their Sociology Class. That's how I remembered them and right then, I've felt a sense of beauty, not only with them personally, but with the culture they're bringing unto us during that time. They've lectured about their way of living and it was so fascinating to know about it. They have mentioned about how beautiful their resorts and rainforests back in their country so when I've come across forblanca.com, I do agree, that there is a Costa Rica resort in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica that people are considering to be the most beautiful resort in the country. Gorgeous, lovely, and amazing views of nature I've looked at their media gallery, and when time comes, I won't hesitate booking a travel to the perfect place for getaway. Ola from Costa Rica? Terrific!

t'will be a long day!

I slept so early last night! Blame it on my busy schedule during the day. I wasn't able to take a nap, even for some moments and so when I put Triz to sleep, I have joined her unknowingly. LoL. Hey, I did the short sermon at church during midweek prayer, you know, impromptu, but the Holy Spirit was with me and the rest of the congregation. Hehe. I woke up this morning with the smell of Mama's cooking. Ginataan nga gabi. Just smells sooo yummy and goodie. And then Yaya decided to have Mama and Kuya get their ticket to Manila on the same flight exactly as ours so I have to end my online thing any moments from now. May you all have a good Thursday friends!

Skateboard Needs?

It's just now that I've come across warehouseskateboards.com site, and oh how I find it interesting! You see, I just learned that my niece and nephew are fond of skating and skateboarding, and that, skateboards are one of the items in their wishlist for this year. I might as well have to do a one-stop-shop at the website as there are hundreds of skate brands that are available in them, and that's at great prices! When you buy, you are even being helped with what best to get if you are a new shopper of the item and you don't know which deck and skate hardware to get. The cheapest possible way to get a complete set of skateboards with their pre-built and assembled items are the best option, too. Or if you prefer, you can even design your own complete skateboard. Now that's something! Element skateboards are available now, too, so check the site for your skateboard needs!

Overcomer With God

I've had the worse and most terrible experience to come in my life. I was too young during that time, and I could tell, such event brought out the best and most responsible person in me. May be I am not yet done with facing the worst experience throughout my living but if ever it will come in the near future, then I think I could be an overcomer of it as well, with God's help, like I have had in the past. I have so learned that when I am faced with a problem that seems to overwhelm me, I always remember to ask for God's help. After all: HE IS A SHIELD TO THOSE WHO TAKE REFUGE IN HIM (Pro.30:5).

Every day, it is surely worth moving on, even despite the odds, for you have the awesome power of God with you all the way!

Of Wedding Thoughts and Invites

I got married four years ago, and up until now, I could feel such time is still that fresh. Hmmm... talk about being inlove alright. The funny thing though is that it used to be a plan of me and my six college bestfriends that a single grand wedding will take place for all of us, seven in the group. That we will march on the aisle together, all seven of us brides, and that the aisle must be that wide, therefore, it's going to be a garden or a beach wedding. Such a dream! Of course it didn't happen. Instead, one of us got married first and we all were invited. And it was a civil wedding, with a foreigner as her husband. It happened just at the Hall of Justice, and you know what's the funniest thing? There were a couple of detainees, handcuffed, in uniform, present at the very ceremony! Those beautiful Wedding Invitations that we got in hand were surely ruined by those uninvited guests. LoL. It's the downside of a civil wedding that happens in Philippines!

Now here's the thing. All of us in the family got married in a civil ceremony. And we have planned of having a renewal of vow five years from now. That's when I think that my next project will be making an invitation that would be perfect for all of us sisters! I've come across 1st-class-wedding-invitations.com for their samples and formats and oh, I just love this Mocha Pocket and Bow Wedding Invitation! So classy and elegant! Perfect!

There's an even more unique aspect to invitations at this website. It's the fact that the newest feature which is the zoom feature which will allow people to see the quality of the very invitation in complete detail is being magnified. And take note, no other wedding invitation site has a feature like this one. Now that's something! And so, I am settled on this one for ours:

Simple. Yet nice.

watermelon, anyone?

Summer is the time of the year! Oh yeah, the time when it is so hot and humid outside, that a fruit that's called watermelon is one best thing! For Triz, it can be any season, any day, and any time! And with a slice of such fruit, given the sweetest one, a meal will be solved. Well, partly solved.

Can you see how a single slice will turn Triz into a messy kid? Hehe. She loves that, no matter what!

Backgammon to Make Guinness History

You know very well what a Guinness Gamer World Record is, don't you? Well, for the latest news update, the Backgammon Masters online game operator has recently applied for a Guinness Record for the backgammon dice toss. That will be a history I think, and it will be a great publicity too to promote and announce the backgammon freeroll tournaments every Tuesday and Friday at backgammonmasters.com! Now here's the plan that's such indescribably interesting and unique: To show to the world the record that's worth guinnessing, the act is to toss 2 backgammon dice out of a helicopter 200-300 ft. up in the sky onto a 1 acre-sized gigantic backgammon board-shaped field in a HUGE backgammon tournament. Now that's really huge, eh?

To play backgammon just for this event will take 2 well-known world backgammon champions who will play a full match in a huge acre-size field with a 3-feet in diameter size of a dice, and with staff to move the checker via walkie-talkies communication. Can you believe that? And here's the even greater deal out of such event: The winner of this unique backgammon board game will get to keep the dice which are valued at 1,000 Euro, and such backgammon dice are custom made out of a special inflatable material to withstand the impact of the fall. As to the locations, regulations, and helicopter safety measures of such event, Backgammon Masters have yet been advising the famous pilot expeditioner Quentin Smith who has already crossed the dessert and has reached the Arctic territories. For more info about this event, visit gammonish.com!

Moms, Happy Mother's Day!

Exactly 12 midnight last night, my best friend Rutchie all the way from Davao texted me with a Happy Mother's Day greetings. So thoughtful and sweet of her, despite the fact that she, herself, isn't a mother yet. That was appreciated of course. So much. It was last week when swithart greeted me Happy Mom's Day. He's the first to greet me and it was so nice of him, don't you think? But last night at church, everybody was greeting everybody and it was again a good thing. And this very day falls exactly the Mother's Day so to all the moms out there,

Enjoy the day! Be happy...

Oh, oh... BMW!

Back then, I often hear my late father wanting to own a BMW one day, and yet, it never happened. LoL. Poor Papa, really. BMW cars were so in in the past, and even until today. And yet, it would be impossible for us to own one, given that we are now a family. Seems like BMW units are not suitable for the three of us. Well, that's just how I see it. But looking at myhotbmw.com site, BMW Body Kit, and all those accessories are excellently displayed and showcased. No reason why one wouldn't want to have one. It's a BMW Parts store where costumer support is live 24/7, so if you have any inquiries, no doubt you will be heard.

Barney Helps

I am all glad and thankful with Barney and Friends that I am being helped in babysitting Triz. See, I do have a lot of stuff to do here but with Barney, I can leave Triz to her Ate's and she could do things that I don't need to be there watching her all the time. Such a genius DVDs, really.   I did my laundry outside yesterday afternoon and Triz's companion was just Barney after having two of her Ate's gone for their nap and Triz was the only one left in the living room watching it. It's a huge help, really, and I was delighted to see Barney DVDs here that are sold at a very cheap price. Hehe.. The upside of having those street vendors that yeah, sell imit***** discs. I only buy Barney though and they really help.
